PARADE THEME: Life Liberty & The pursuit of Happiness

AWARDS

Trophies will be awarded for: SWEEPSTAKES TROPHY, best overall presentation; JUDGES TROPHY, best overall equestrian presentation; THEME TROPHY, best presentation of theme. Plaques will be awarded for 1st place and ribbons will be awarded for 2nd and 3rd place in all other categories. AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED IN THE ENTERTAINMENT PAVILLION IN CENTRAL PARK BEGINNING AT 12:30 FOR EQUESTRIAN ENTRIES, AND 1:30 FOR ALL OTHER ENTRIES.

JUDGING

Entries will be judged along the line of march. The parade Committee RESERVES THE RIGHT to re-classify an entry into the most correct or appropriate category if necessary. This is not a sanctioned equestrian event.

RULES

PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY

                        

1.      One application per entry group or individual.

2.      Complete the application form fully, especially participant names and description for the announcer. Please type or print legibly. The parade Committee will not be responsible for announcer’s omissions or errors due to the submission of illegible, incomplete or incorrect information. Remember to sign and mail the application form.

3.      Entry DEADLINE, APRIL 25th 2010. Late entries will be placed in the parade lineup at the discretion of the parade committee; however, they will not be considered for judging.

4.      Parade numbers and information for assembly, route, and dispersal area will be given at the time of check-in. Large groups are asked to have one representative check in and obtain the entry number, preferably the person in charge.

5.      There is a $10 processing fee charged. The processing fee is non-refundable.

 

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM THROWING CANDY OR OTHER MATERIALS INTO THE CROWD. THIS IS A POTENTIAL DANGER. YOUR COOPERATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
